Does anyone have a recommendation for a source of decent quality pan head screws? I’m after some shortish screws - c.25mm long. I’m currently struggling along with a multi pack of different sizes from Toolstation all of which appear to be made from a material closely resembling fudge. Many thanks

Probably sacrilege. Could you use self tapping screws? Pan heads seem to be more often found in self tappers. After all these days there is not a great difference in thread form.

Hi NDR. Couple of places you could try, I got some very nice stainless steel slot head countersunk from Hafele, really nice quality. A couple of years ago I got some nice brass screws from a company called Marches www.marchesironmongery.co.uk Not cheap but good quality. Ian—- just looked, not too edifying, depends what you want really.

Thanks Ian. I've gone for some from Hafele. Been generally pleased with their products in the past.
