The catalogue is finally available to view. Some gems there but once again their estimates are way off but shhh.

So far I have a wish list longer than my to-do list ;)
Hopefully I can make it to this sale, chat with some other members of the ukw and drool over tools. Win win.

So who will be attending?
I have my eyes of a few mitre planes :)

TT

Hopefully Thurs & Friday 8)
I do believe it is Sarah Carters birthday the same day

If anyone has any W.KENDALL or R.KENDALL planes I would love to see them please.

Cheers
Andy

We probably won't be at the general sale on the 28th Feb as we have a late night on Thursday ... but we will definitely be there on the 29th of March for the international sale.
I might even try to sell summink by then.

Imagine all those bargains if it did.

The general one isn't online so that would be incredible, unless they cancelled.

I'll make it one day but not tomorrow.

Best of luck trying to "steal" something from under the noses of all the experts at that auction. :D

Auction estimates tend to be low - it encourages people.

It looked to me like estimafe x 3 was a reasonable approximation for most of the items I was interested in. I think I'd happily take the lot at their estimated prices !

I know that's how they got me their last time, I won a lot I went there for but ended up paying double! Part of the fun really.
I haven't the money or knowledge to beat those at the auctions. So I'll stick to ebay where I "steal" norris, spire, mitres and record no5.5 2 1/4" for others ;)

Really wish I could of made it tho. Stupid work got in the way
:(

I went along to the auction this morning. The first I have been to. It was interesting and looked like there were some very nice items available amongs a lot of 'not so nice' junk. Bidding was brisk, but the few items I thought may be suitable, went for more than I was prepared to shell out for.

Anyway, very interesting and will certainly go again.

If you are going and have any spare tools that you don't want and cant be bothered to do up and sell, take them along for the 'Help the Heros' stand. They will be very appreciative and your tools (that you don't want or need) will be put to good use.
