Czech's invent new sport, or have they?

Can't be sure if they started it but I saw it for the first time today - I'll call it Moto-Ski-Cross
Comprises a guy on a moto-cross bike towing another guy on skis and what I saw comprised about a dozen 'pairs' all going over a typical moto-cross circuit. Amyone else seen this 'new' sport?? Is it all that new??

Never seen it before but it sounds very, very dangerous to me.
