Hi all,
I am looking for cutting list softwares. Searching the Forum I found a thread in which Martin gave this link:
http://cutlistplus.com/

What are you all using and is there some good freewares out there?

Hi CYC

I simply use a spreadsheet. Works OK for me and free if you have Excel etc. or Microsoft Works (bundled with most PCs) .

Cheers

Hi Dr Thrax

Thanks for the links
I am beginning to imagine that you have an incredible favorites list and a very well organised one at that.
Thanks again for these nice links to links and a few hours happy browsing

All the best

I use a program called Solid Edge to draw the projects - I get a license for free from work :)

I knock up my cutting lists etc. in Excel as I use it nearly every day and so find it incredibly quick and easy. Also have several VB macros written for certain tasks.

Thanks for the clarification Tony.

I use Sketchup for designing the projects. It's really quick and you don't need to be an expert to use it. There is actually some good online tutorials on their site. But I lacked a good cutting list support, last WE for example I made a few mistakes because I didn't write down a list!

I have been looking at this Cutlistplus and am impressed enough :D I will try it a little longer but I could see myself getting the $60 license.
