Hey,

I've only reccently started to use more hand tools and was wondering what the best way to cut bevels to create a hexagonal box would be?

Say I wanna create a box 150mm tall, would be the best way be to mark the angle and plane down to the line?

Thanks.

Not easy. Practice first with three sided boxes? Then four/five?
Precision planing and holding whilst gluing would be the hardest parts.

I've found shooting boards very helpful for accurate angles, i have also found I can't use them independent of marking out. A small change in technique can result in angles being off, good marking out will enable you to see this before it happens.
