Miles away - totally impractical...
Unless I'm going nuts, Cutlist is a bit limited when it comes to dimensioned timber... It seems to assume that timber widths go up in standard, fixed, width increments. Not at my timber yard...

Am I missing something?

EDIT: And it does not seem possible to set the planed size per nominal size - it assumes some kinda US based relationship.

All this just means that I end up with a shopping list that does not match what is available at my timber yard...

Back to pen and paper...

(still full marks for laying out sheet goods though).
 
just go into the settings menu...

nominal sizes...

and add your own sizes.

I.e. a 25.4mm board that is still 25.4mm on the actual thickness.

Done that for thickness but width... It seems only to allow a fixed incremental value (bottom right-hand field in the same window).
