Crossing the road

A university student was showing his father around on a weekend visit. When they came to a pedestrian crossing the young man stepped out without looking right or left. His father was shocked and said, "son, that's not safe, you could have been hit by a car!" The young man reassured his father, "nah Dad, it's fine, they always stop in time."

After walking around for a bit they hopped in the car and started to drive home. When they came to a pedestrian crossing the young man zoomed through without looking right or left. His father was shocked and said, "son, that's not safe, you could have hit a pedestrian!" The young man reassured his father, "nah, Dad, it's fine, they always stop in time."
