Just wondering whether anyone on the forum has used the Numatic NVD750 with Festool machines. If so, what connector did you use?
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks Matt, I will look into the hose you mentionShrubby":1uyy65w2 said:I use a 27mm antistatic hose from nilfisk/alto/wap/stihl . They came standard with my Festo SR6 vacs, the vac end is 58mm taper common to most European vacs it pushes into the Numatic at work but yours might be different. The tool end is the standard rubber swivel which fits over a 27mm spout and into a 35mm hole but tapers up to 40mm - if you have Makita or Bosch tools with a 19mm fitting then Bosch 1 600 499 005 and Makita 192349-3 are worth buying
I find the Numatic 32mm hoses and tapered tool adapter very clumsy in comparison

This will almost certainly do the job:

It's not cheap, but until all the tool manufacturers can agree on a couple of standard sizes for dust ports it's a neat solution to a problem that you'd otherwise have to bodge with duct tape and whatever bits of tubing you have lying around. In the picture below the baby Makita router has a dust port with almost exactly the same i/d and o/d as the hose so the hose won't fit either inside or outside. I could probably cut the adaptor after the second largest diameter and squeeze that over the makita dust port, but then I would have to buy another 13 quid adaptor to use with the tools with smaller ports like the Bosch multitool .Bluekingfisher":312963tf said:Seems a tad pricey at £17.89 (incl shipping) for a 6" lenght of rubber tube.
