concealed hinges

I posted a while back about a coffee table come display cupboard which will have a hinged glass top so that the contents are accessible. Can anyone recommend some concealed hinges for this application, as I don't want them to be visible when closed. Would these work:

Is this kind of hinge easy to fit?
I also need some kind of stay to hold the top open...

Those would probably work fine. A concealed lid stay would be more difficult.

How often would this display case be opened? If the answer is rarely, perhaps you'd do better to make the top lift off instead of hinging it. You could set it on pins and perhaps use rare earth magnets to assist gravity.

I did consider that, but it seemed more elegant to me to have it hinged, I suppose it's not essential and would certainly be simpler to have it just lift off.
