Coffee table or a dining table

Part of a house refurb was a commission to make 4 coffee tables which could be put together and used as a dining table.
Here is a video of one of the tables, the 4 can all be locked together with quick clips.

Goes from 500mm to 760mm high

Fantastic idea for utilising space and function!! And still looking pleasant!

We produced something along the lines of this years ago for a large telesales company up north to use for Hot-desking.
There was about 40 of them in a large communal office space so could be used whilst sitting on a sofa area or sitting at on a bar stool.

We used adapted gas strut's like found on barstools and office chairs.. We used a cheap one from a bar stool in the workshop for the prototype and it failed before we even started machining the actual ones so made shore we used the best gas struts we could find. We used the same ones Ercol use. Company called Henderson made them but think they are no longer.
