If any of you have these at home - the slow moving houyse flies that gather at window frames/ veluxes or attics then this is a good day to get rid of them.

If you open the windows and flush them out (bang on the velux frame as well to stir up the ones in there) then they will fly outside and the cold will kill them.

Don't see any ladybirds flying about and the lacewings that are there fly inside towards the darker area and seem to survive. I'm following the lesser of two evils here - last weekend I hoovered up soemwhere between 200 and 300 of the damn things.
