I'd like to make a fairly simple wall clock with a mechanical movement but don't know where to start really. Would anyone who's done this care to share their thoughts? From a brief look it seems you can buy reasonable mechanical movements from about £25 but should I spend a bit more? Also are there any interesting sites folks have come across for inspiration on case design. For a first attempt I'm not looking at doing anything too fancy but it must obviously look nice enough to go on the wall when it's finished! :lol:
