Has anyone else had the misfortune to buy this junk? Clip and Click?

More like Clip and Curse. Quote 'in one fluid movement click the second plank into place.' Rubbish.

And if I don't slice my knees open on the razor sharp edges of the clips then that will be a miracle in itself

Avoid at all costs IMHO

Not a happy bunny.

I just looked at the demo video

I take it that they do not close- as much as you want them too (so they do not give that nice tied fit) ???

You can't always get them to close at all. The tolerance on the boards mean that trying to align the clips and get the tongue in the groove is often well nigh impossible.

I've learnt to discard these boards. Quite a pile now.

Also sometimes the tongue at the end of the board and corresponding groove are out of alignment by 1.5mm or so..but you don't realise this until you have fought the click battle and won,...then to find that the tongue/groove doesn't match.
