I have been cleaning the tables etc of my recently acquired planer / thicknesser to remove resin stains etc using WD40.
Whilst the tables are not yet free of stains they are considerably better than when I collected the machine.
So before using the machine I have rubbed off with a paper towel as much of the WD40 as possible and will leave it for an hour or two before applying Liberon Lubricating Wax.
However I am just wondering will this be sufficient to stop the WD40 from staining any timber put through the machine?
Or is there something else I should be doing before applying the Liberon?
