Evening all,
Haven't posted for a while due to an enforced layoff.
Finally got back into my workshop today and started cleaning and hoovering the dust and mess up.
My SIP thicknesser planer seems to have suffered the most during my time off, and the tables have a greasy film on them that inhibits the movement of timber over them.
Any ideas of a cleaning product that will clean them without damaging the aluminium?
Thanks in advance
Kieran

Thanks for that Rob,
Never even thought about WD40 for cleaning, I'll try it in the morning.
Cheers

I wonder if it'll remove epoxy as well?...meths is the only thing that seems to get the stuff off your fingers - Rob

Petrol is the best thing I've found for cleaning things

I use it on my car to remove those tar spots. Probably one of the most expensive types of cleaner around thou!
