Chuck thread compatibility

I have a Record Power DML305, with spindle thread M33. Now I also have a Supernova 2 Chuck with M33 thread by Technatool, from my old DVR lathe.
Whilst these threads are both M33, they are not compatible, I cannot fit this chuck to the DML305.
Anyone come across this, any adaptors available?
