Any way after 7 hours Walter has shaped 1000 "Arms" so a quick change and back to do the right hand so thats another 7 hours!!

But while thats running I can finish painting the fence and set up and start to drill a few holes two per arm so thats 4000 holes in all.
just as well I got this machine, it drills two hole at a time and I load two arms at a go so that 4 holes per cycle.

then its into the boxes

But that not quite all I then ship them to a good freind who machines them a bit more before dispatch to the customer whom upholsters them and fixes to metal chair frames.

Thanks for looking..

And a few bits of info:-
Three full sacks of MDF dust that weighs a ton from 1000 pairs of arms
Walter takes about 20min to get going in the morning to "warm up"
to change from left hand to right hand about an hour (on a good day)
But to change and set up for a new job can be many hours.

dont envy you all that mdf dust though

Thanks Alan
The dust I don't find to much of a problem, Walter makes most of it and I don't need to stand to close other than to fill the hopper with blanks and empty the out feed collector, and it banks down the woodburner in the workshop very well :)
