Christmas deals on LN - Any out there?

Quick question, does anyone know of any Christmas deals going down over the festive period?

I'm about to get an LN No 3 plane (and possibly a block) and wondered if anyone was aware of any good deals out there at the moment? There is clearly fixed pricing for LN in the UK and I got over the price shock a good while ago, just wanted to make my purchase prior to 1 Jan as prices are likely to rise again. I know Classic Hand Tools have done percentage discounts in the past and wanted to check before shelling out - been there, done that

Any advice appreciated.

From what I read they don't ever have sales. I don't suppose they need to.

You do get a 10% discount if you visit their HQ though. I was around that area earlier in the year but didn't get chance to go.

The only thing that gets close to this is Vertias/Lee Valley release their 'seconds' stuff about black friday time. But that's over now.

I'm sure they have done them in the past (unless I'm confusing them with G&S Timber?).

I'm about to push the button, just a little hesitant in case someone is aware of an impending sale or discount is all. Been burnt before and I suspect prices will go up again in New Year. I dread to think what Axminster's prices will be after the 1st.
