Choosing size of sliding dovetail bit

I'd like some advice as to what dimensions I should go for..angle, diameter, cut length to make a sliding dovetail between the leg and a vertical frame piece for a small worktop unit. Softwood.

I hope that gives enough information for some advice. Such a huge range of sizes available. My gut feel is for something 'chunky'.

Ha..found the answer in the Collins book. 100degrees for softwood.

I bought it a long time ago and forgot all about it until someone on one of the other threads reminded me about it!
