cheap bandsaw

hi new on here looking for help about buying a bandsaw hi have looked at to and would like to know if anyone out there got them 1 is charnwood w711 and scheppach 8-inch hobby bandsaw have read some reviews for the charnwood and looks good it only going to be used for my model boat building or if anyone has got any other one that about thr same price thanks

You might want to have a read through this thread for recent experience with the Charnwood W711 machine and also the customer service approach of the company.

Don't have any personal experience of either model though.

May be worth looking on the Axminster site too and seeing what they do ?

Hi,

I just checked and mine is the Charnwood W711 from a few years ago and does not seem to have the fence problem more recently reported. When fitted with a decent blade, it is a good little machine but limited in capacity. I am in Littleport if you want to come and have a look.
