I just wanted to post a link to the blog of a good friend of mine Malcolm Cray who after 23 years serving Queen and country in the Royal Navy is finally retiring, but before he goes he’s decided to do a little walk to try and raise some money for Help For Heroes. Well that’s not the total truth; in fact he is going to walk from John O'Groats to Lands End, wearing 17th century pikeman attire, including pike and chest armour. So in May to July should any of you drive pass a deserter from the battle of Naseby give him a toot and a wave, because believe me that is not very comfy kit and the boots are a killer.
