Hi all

If anyone ever has to refurbish chairs, that someone else has made, because the joints have worn loose over time then just invest in Chair Doctor glue from Brimarc.

It's not cheap, about seven or eight pound iirc for a small container, but it does what it says on the box.

Cheers
Neil

Also handy for tightening up loose tool handles that someone else has made (obviously...) So it also does what it doesn't say on the tin.

Cheers, Alf

Also handy for wicking into tight box (comb) joints after assembly with a mallet.

And have you noticed, it looks and smells just like a waterborne acrylic - Bolloms's Hydrocote to be exact. It has that same bluish sheen too.

If this is the Veritas Chair Doctor glue, it also has some gap filling properties, cos it causes the wood to swell an amount; it won't cure a really sloppy joint, but can help with those that are a little bit loose.
