Hi guys,
some of you have ever tryed to carve some moldings?do you have some nice profiles or details at home?on the job it happened in the past some molding that needed to be carved,so i saved some scrap as you can see from the pictures,so i was thinking if maybe some of you has some pictures of interesting molding to carve,thanks guys! :D

I Mike,
the frame is in the process of gold leafing now,so i will work on it from monday,the only pictures i have is this one of the single profile..and another of a simple sconce i did in the past:

Thanks Mike,this was actually a reproduction of a old molding,nothing that i created..here you can see it a variation i made,that is of course bigger in size..

 
A good source of molding styles and 'how to' tips is "Carving Architectural Detail in Wood - The Classical Tradition" by Frederick Wilbur published by The Guild of Master Craftsmen.
