Not a football fan but a £3k fine is a complete joke instead of 250 hours of community service.

At the very least they should have fined him 250/40 = 6.25 weeks wages.

No idea how much he earns but even on the low side at £50k a week = £312,500

Better still they should not have let him leave the country until he finished the order.
