I know it's not the normal type of wood working, but i have been asked to build an extension onto a caravan.
It is raised about 3' off the ground, so i plan to use 4x4 posts and 6x2 joists to build a raised deck (approx 8'x6')
put MR chipboard flooring on this,
3x2 insulated stud walls
board inside with 12mm MR MDF
felt, ply and textured paint on outside
6x2 rafters for lean to roof, ply and felt on top
I'm after idea's of how to seal it to the caravan bearing in mind the caravan will probably move in the wind more than the extension and also does anyone know what textured paint type stuff is used on the outside of caravans?
Does anyone have any other potential problems i should think about?
