Hi all, I have a kity 618 and today the capacitor died when i went to remove the capacitor i found it was completely blank, i have tried all my local shops, searched the web but no one can help me without the capacitors info, the plate on the motor states it is a 360v 25uf capacitor but i cant seem to find them anywhere, can i use a 440v 30uf, which seem to be easier to purchase or does anyone own a 618 with a capacitor which has info printed on it, Cheers Guys

440v 30uf should be OK, capacity size can be quite a broad tollerance anyway.

The higher working voltage is benificial.

Do you know if it is a Run capacitor or just for Starting ?

If you obtain a Run rated capacitor it would be good for both applications, may mean that it is larger in size than the existing unit.
