Can anyone recommend a timber merchants in the Paisley area

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and to woodworking, and I'm looking to do a few projects at home from MDF. From what I've read here it would better to use MR MDF, but never having bought it before I'm looking for some advice on good suppliers in the Paisley / Glasgow area.

I'm looking for somewhere that would be happy to sell a couple of sheets to a DIY'er and preferably who would be able to cut to size for me. I've been to B & Q and the quality of their stuff looked pretty poor to me.

Shawfield timber over in Rutherglen maybe?

I have noticed that the B&Q stores in the Glasgow area are using Medite MDF which is pretty decent.

I've been to the B & Q in Paisley, but the MDF there was called Kronospan and it didn't look great.

From reading these forums I've seen Medite and Caber brands being recommended, so it's good to know that some B & Q branches have some of it. Can you let me know which branch it was and I can take a look.
