Just to point out its not me selling it but I con't think what it might be useful for, except maybe really small dovetails?????

I agree - I think it would have started like this one of mine

and been repeatedly sharpened. You can see that the cut in the underside of the handle extends far enough for the blade to have originally been a more sensible size.

It's a dovetail saw not a tenon saw and would probably still be usable for joints in thin stuff. Other saws are available!

I have a lovely old hand rip saw that is about 1" wide at the tip probably started its life 3" not much use for ripping any more but you can cut curved work with it. It looks great and could tell a few storeys of woodworking in days past.
