hi guys
Going to buy a camvac CGV286-3 4” Inlet 1 Motor 36ltr Capacity unit next friday ..
But they sell the base unit then the rest is extras eg 4" hose etc etc ..
The 4" hose with end fittings is £48:00
Or am I tight
Is there anywhere else cheaper as dont know what kind of connector needed to link up to the unit ??
Any views or ideas would be great

You can get the hose from Dust Spares on Ebay. It's the proper stuff - clear hose just like camvac sell.
The connectors I'm not so sure about as I bought my Camvac 2nd hand and got connectors with it. Yandles sell Camvac stuff so they'll have the connectors but they just ship direct from Camvac so it's no better really.

You need a slightly bigger connector for the machine than 100mm. It'll say something like hose to machine connector.

I would probably have gone for the twin motor version. Just using a single motor on mine (it's a triple but only ever use 2 at a time) never seems that powerful.
