Camel legs and head

I have been given this in the photo below i haven't seen anything like it before but i have been told they are quiet common abroad and i love the way they all fold up i don't know if you can make out that they are camels from the photo 's any way does any one know what timber they are commonly made from and how are they made

Any body seen these before ? what can you tell me about them' how are they made ' and what wood are they often made from any info would be gratefully received Alan photo's on the post above

I've seen a few three legged versions [without the camel styling], all I know is they are carved from a single piece.
