calling a virus expert please

I have received a circular email from a non experienced computer user(and a friend). It is one of those circulars requesting support for a worthwhile cause (destruction of the Brazillian rainforest) asking me to add my name and forward on to as many friends as possible.
My virus program has let the email in (trend pckillin) but I am always dubious of forwarding on.

Can any virus expert on this web accept this email from me and tell me if it is OK to proceed?

if your virus checker has not picked it up and it has no file attatched to it then it is not a virus. It is however, Junk Mail and I would delete it without sending it. These things have been circulating the web since it began and are worthless.
