Hi,

for my shed, I bought my cladding from cedar direct, which was ok for delivery because I ordered a bigger amount. Now I'm doing the fence for the front garden and I need a lot less material for it. It would be very expensive to ship it from England. Where do I buy it locally near Glasgow?

I use Pattersons timber in Elliot Street in Glasgow for my timber. http://www.paterson-timber.com/index.html Not as big as Timbmet in Glasgow but a great yard to deal with. Try douglas fir for your fence as cedar is a bit too soft. DF would also be cheaper as well. Take your own circular saw to cut to length as well as they don't have cutting facilities but will let you plug in your own saw.
