Anyone fancy a broken Rega Planar 2 record player for spares or repair?
One of the cartridge wires is broken and I'm not good enough to solder it back together, plus I seem to remember the motor may be mounted too high and the belt rubs the bottom of the platter giving interesting speed effects.
It has a recent Audiotechnica AT95E cartridge and new unused Ortofon OM 5E to go with it, neither fitted.
Ideally pick up in person in Petersfield Hampshire, as I don't know if I have the will to post it.
