Hi Mark. I've never used it but as a window cleaner (industrial/ abseiler/ 15+ years etc) I have stripped plenty off new builds. I'm guessing mostly but from what I've seen of it, its best applied in as sterile environment as possible. Any dust or debris is your enemy. I would guess it's self tacking so clean any windows thoroughly as possibly before applying. It has a 4 week life so it doesn't seem too aggressive. I'd be careful any paint was fully cured though. Products like this rely on/ work best on, a 'perfect' surface like glass. You might get it to stick to painted wood but I have doubts.
Not to say it wont be suitable or fit for purpose. Might just need to get it on the glass (brush it from the centre) and overlap the frames then maybe a judicious use of frog/ masking tape(etc) to keep the edges in place. Should work tbh. Needs must and all that.
Just a guess as I say. Hopefully someone can offer better experience.
Cheers
Chris
