Someone might find the above linki useful.

I used some on my last tissue box, the one with the lid drop in with mitred edges. I sealed up the edges with this stopping and it gave a clean and uniform surface all round the lid to carcass ( around a quarter of a millimeter perhaps)

Does anyone know if it finishes ok with sanding sealer and wax or will I have to varnish this time.

I have always liked Brummer for more than 40 years as it is so quick to go off and easily used. I use it a lot for both painted and clear jobs. Spiriit finish is fine to seal. It is not so good with water based coatings so best avoided. Cabinet finishers used it a lot at one time as their stock in trade. Good luck.
