Boh, Love the "trout" and the puzzle. I am curious about the wood used for the trout and what type of finish......more than all that how long to cut that one......highly detailed..

Lin, the frame is walnut and the trout 1/8" baltic birch, the backer is 1/8" painted black. I stained it cherry and used wipe on poly for the finish.

And I don't have any idea how long it took me to cut it out, I also was working on other projects at the time, but it took a good while.
