hi i have a dewalt 1751 radial arm saw. and for the life of me i can not find a rewiring sequence for it. my gdad took the old switch of couple years ago. so he cannot mind where all the wires go, we have the new switch, i wired it up from a guy having a link on here years ago, altho its still not working right. i have spent hours on the comp trying to find something. all i need to know is where the wires attatch to the switch and one of the cables that comes of the capasitator pretty please.

exact same as this guy has done altho i have a wire with a crimp coming of the capasitator dont know where it goes and i cant see for defo where all the wires are to attatch to on the last pic many thanks

Unfortunately I don't have access to the 1251 so can't really help. Can you post some pictures of what you have ?

hope these pictures work, i have linked the cables as you did on your link, but i seem to have this extra black cable from the capasiror, where does it connect to, it was me that put the crimp onto it thinking it would go on to the switch, many thanks lins

Be careful with that capacitor and wiring it up, if you get the connections around the wrong way it could go bang.

Did you try emailing dewalt about the wiring? That would be my first port of call, one connection from the cap will go to positive the other will go to negative, it's probably there to give the motor a shove when it's starting but I wouldn't want to just guess where it goes from the murky pictures that you've posted.
