This is the first one of his vids I have watched. I like the cabinet but is it usual to use so many nails ? Seems a bit of a cop out.

I think the nails are to hold bits in position whilst glue sets.

But what a difference having a dado cutter for work like that for cost reduction when pricing a job for professionals.

Having watched a number of Norm's videos on his website, I have enjoyed them but he really ought to change his name to Brad bearing in mind the number of times he uses them. AS DW said, he tends to use them to fix housing joints, rebate joints and mouldings whilst the glue sets. What I do not understand is why, when he shows the finishing process Danish oil/varnish etc., he never seems to fill the holes that his brads or penny nails must make.
