I'm new to the forum and not exactly sure how this works.
I have a dozen bundles of old growth pre-C.I.T.E.S Brazilian rosewood veneer that I would like to sell, but need some advice on the best way of doing so. It's the remainder of 31 bundles that I inherited when my grandfather died 35 years ago. He was a cabinet maker before he retired in 1955. I grew up with an interest in carpentry and especially marquetry/veneering, and over the years I've used a lot of the rosewood on projects. It really is beautiful veneer. I was diagnosed with MS 12 years ago though and don't have much energy now, which is the reason I'm selling my stock.
I'm not sure of the price to ask or whether to sell single bundles, single sheets or the whole lot in one go. Also, where to sell it, I'm not too keen on the well known auction site.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
