Been making boxes lately ( a la Chas instructions - ta!) and Chas advised I post my own thread so here we go:-

Thanks everybody - Gives you a warm feeling, but enough about my problem. Making a change from boxes I decided to try a platter. Came up nice and shiny😁

Very nice, and parquetry too.

Flash.

Spalted looks amazing, and spalted can look quite dull in a lot of instances, but then you get a bit and its 'spalting' is just incredibly well pronounced.
 
wow they look fantastic Linus - can definitely see the Chas influence - love the pattern in the lid and the plate.
