I started this box a while ago as apresent for my niece who is having a first baby.

It is now finished.

I had to order the hinges from Rockler as I needed two 60lb hinges, they came in just over a week.

They are the torsion hinges which will keep the lid from falling down and trapping any small fingers in the future.

SWMBO applied her artistic talent to the lid.

No theres no reason other than I didn't stop to think...good point though must remember next time
