Hi All
I've been busy making boxes these last few weeks. Just finished my fourth (probably time to stop now  )
They are all made with mitred sides, reinforced with splines. All the joints were cut on the table saw using a couple of dedicated sleds to safely carry out the work. They only took a couple of hours each and use up those off-cuts that I seem to hoard.
There are step-by-step pics on my website, here. And there is a gallery of completed pics here.
Hope you like,
Philly :D

Nice work Phil, like the sloping lid to body joint.

They'll make nice birthday/chrissy prezzies

Axminster-it was on special. £7 for a big tin. Smells amazing at first, dies down as the days pass. Don't think it is good for inside stuff-shellac rules for that!
Cheers
Philly :D
