I finally got round to finishing the other Bowl I was colouring at the NBG show, this is the one the Children helped to colour! (they coloured part of the outside)

The inside has a very different character in colour to the outside in this bowl, being very green, but I feel it works very well as you have two natures to the bowl in one.

As these bowls were prepared mainly for the show as demonstration pieces, I had not given them a full and thorough examination as to sanding marks, this really shows on the outside, but for me at least, it isn't too much of a distraction as the colours seem to carry it well enough, but I do wish I had been a little more careful at the time!

Inside finish is shellac, outside is acrylic lacquer. 20p is for scale.

Even though it is a demo piece it still looks impressive Kim. Now all I need to do is get and try it as I have now got some more stain and the brushes have turned up as well as the gloss spray, so I now have no excuse
