n00b here. Please be gentle!

Do you good people have a recommended book list anywhere?

I have (among others) Encyclopedia of Furniture Making by Ernest Joyce, which is gold. But I need something similar for the modern age that takes advantage of power tools and gadgets etc.

I'm also after a book on modern knock-down / up furniture parts, tools, and techniques. An Ikea bible basically, for building my own things to fit in with fake furniture. Or using hybrid methods to make things that can be dis-assembled easily for moving, or saving space.

A really good guide on power tools, and what can be done with them, other than making my own sawdust, would also be appreciated!

Thanks! :)

you should just buy ikea furniture! no point learning the craft if you are just re-creating ikea style knock down furniture, you won't be able to compete with them on price.
