Hi
I know nothing about carpentry but my partner is a carpenter / roofer and greenwoodworker. He wants a book on joints and I wanted to get hin one for Christmas but have no idea what is good and what is terrible! He quite likes working in a ore traditional way and is becoming keen on pole lathing / greenwoodworking (he is fan of Mike Abbott) and I want to get him a book that will be useful at work and I know that it will be most helpful to have one that is not for beginners but that has a good clear step by step guide, he works best when being shown and is a quick learner so I guess one with clear diagrams too.

Have found this book and wondered if anyone had any feedback on it or a better suggestion!
Thanks from girlfriend hoping to buy cool / useful present! x
