No, I thought about it, but I don't think your first effort at anything is your best and I'm a bit of a perfectionist so found a company I have a lot of faith in.

the joists are what joins them.

Yes I'm a bit like that, not sure I want slime on the bottom of a pool as well.

Well technically it's a cold roof structure as the structural part (osb) is on the warm and cold side and therefore has to be treated as a cold roof. But that gives zero indication of it's insulation ability.
