Black stained MDF as seen on Cutting Edge WWer

After seeing Paul using Black MDF on this program, I realised I hadn't seen it any-where before.

Out of interest, why is it black, and where from, how much etc...

Theres me thinking he just painted it black so the camera would pick up his chalk better? :shock:
