Sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I'm a new member...
Today I naively bought a second hand circular saw. Black and Decker CD600. The seller advised it needed a new blade and I was fine with that.
It wasn't until I got home did I realise the fixings for the blade are missing; the inner washer, inner flange, outer flange and fixing bolt. Sadly the parts are no longer available.
My question is are blade fixings universal? Could I use fixings from a different model on the one I've bought?....or have I blown my 20 quid on a wrong'n? Many thanks Gary.

I've contacted seller and he's looking for the bits. I was unsure if there is a lot of differences between circular saw blade fixings.

It would not be safe to hope that other makes parts might hold that blade in place. Medium quality brand new saws are not silly money, and they all come with a 3 year warranty.
