I try not to rant on here, but this has got under my skin...

Had an email this afternoon from someone who had bought some Ebonising Lacquer and he wasn't pleased with its performance. His 'complaint' was partly correct, he'd reached a wrong conclusion based on information supplied but we're all guilty of that.

He made a couple of unpleasant inferences in his email but what really got under my skin was the final line in his email...'Depending on your response, the Axminster website is going to get an awful review of the product, which won't help your sales there.'

I had to wait a couple of hours before responding, he wouldn't have liked what I was going to say...

I'm sure the huge amount of happy customers will out-shine his petty review.

Most people can see through the bad reviews as user errors and not bad products.

As blackmail goes you would have to admit that that was a bit blatant.

The man is a fool. A comment like that leaves you with very little room to manoeuvre.
