Well today my son had arranged to take me out for the day to a meal at my favourite eatery in Manchester. it was a treat for my birthday and an excuse for him to do some long distance driving. As the restaurant is in China town we parked in the centre of it and walk the short distance to eat. most of the roads were closed with barriers around them so we inquired why this was to be told it was for the Gay pride parade! We had something to eat and ended up watching the parade as we couldn't cross the roads for any shopping. Well it is certainly a birthday treat I will never forget.

Well, what a lovely surprise to find that Manchester is such a happy place these days. So much so that they actually have reserved a day for everyone to be happy and gay.

A real breath of fresh air   :?:

Sarcastic? Moi

I hope that you had a lovely meal on your special day Mailee. Happy burfdey!

That's a novel idea?
